How does my Faire Direct wholesale website work?
When you sell through Faire Direct, you get instant access to a ready-to-use wholesale website, personalized to your brand and built for conversion. When you share your Faire Direct link with customers, they’re taken straight to your Faire shop where they can browse your catalog and easily place an order with all the benefits of Faire, and you don’t pay commission.
How do I share my Faire Direct website link?
You can find your unique link on the Faire Direct page in your brand portal where you can copy it to easily share with customers. There are several ways we recommend sharing your link, including:
- Embedding it in your own wholesale website (learn how to get this set up here)
- Using Faire’s Campaigns tool to send marketing emails with your link and invite customers to shop with you on Faire with the Faire Direct invite template
- Adding your link to your email signature and social media bios
- Using a QR code for your link (you can find it on the wholesale website page in your brand portal) and adding it to printed materials like business cards and mailers
- Downloading the customized marketing flyers with the QR code from your brand portal when you’re at trade shows
What benefits do retailers get when they order through my Faire Direct tools?
Faire is the best place for retailers to buy wholesale thanks to the unique benefits they can’t get anywhere else. When you take orders through your Faire Direct tools, Faire covers certain benefits for your retailers, including:
- 60-day payment terms for eligible retailers
- Free returns on their first order
- A referral discount and 1 year of free shipping with you if they’re new to Faire
- Instant, easy ordering streamlined through their one Faire account
How does pricing work on orders I take through my Faire Direct tools?
If a retailer places their first order with you on Faire through your Faire Direct tools, you won't pay commission on any of their orders—only payment processing fees will apply. For more information, see here (for North American brands) and here (for brands outside of North America).
If you find that an order comes through with commission from a customer that you’ve encouraged to shop with you through Faire Direct, you can request a commission change in your account. How am I paid for orders I take through my Faire Direct tools?
You’ll be paid for orders you take through your Faire Direct tools in the same way as any other Faire orders. When you get your first order, you’ll set up a payout account and select a payout speed. Your payouts will be securely deposited in your account based on your selected payout speed. How does Faire Direct work with the Insider partnership?
The Insider Partnership is a program that North American brands can join to fuel their growth by offering even more free shipping to Insider retailers, the top buyers on Faire, without covering all the costs themselves.
As a US or Canadian brand, you can choose to opt in and become an Insider Partner if you’d like to partner with Faire to expand the free shipping that Insiders see on your products. If you are an Insider Partner, we’ll pay for free shipping on eligible marketplace Insider orders, and you’ll pay for free shipping on eligible Faire Direct Insider orders.
Note that for all brands, Faire will still cover 1 year of free shipping for retailers who sign-up for Faire through your Faire Direct link as part of the referral offer, separate from Insider. Learn more about Insider.
Which countries is Faire Direct available to brands in?
Faire Direct is currently only available to brands based in the following countries/regions:
- North America
- European Union
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- New Zealand
