Whether you meet them in person or they discover you online, many retailers visit brands' websites looking to purchase wholesale. By taking orders through Faire Direct from your own website, you make buying wholesale from you easier than ever.

There are a few ways to take orders through Faire Direct on your website, depending on your ecommerce strategy:

• Add your Faire Direct website link to the main menu of your own site to enable one-click access to the best benefits in wholesale. This is our number one recommendation for accelerating your sales!
• Add one of our custom widgets to your website to highlight the benefits of shopping with you through Faire and direct customers to your shop

How do I add Faire Direct to my website menu?

Adding your Faire Direct link to your website’s main menu is one of the most powerful ways to boost your sales beyond the marketplace. By doing so, you provide seamless, one-click access to your Faire storefront, making it easier for buyers to place orders with the benefits of Faire, without paying commission on their orders.

To add Faire Direct to your website:

1. Copy your Faire Direct website link. You can find it in the wholesale website page of your Faire portal.
2. Link the URL directly to your site’s main menu, by opening your site’s menu settings and pasting the link as the destination for your wholesale page.

How do I add a Faire Direct widget to my website?

We offer a variety of widgets that you can easily add to your own website to drive traffic directly to your wholesale shop on Faire. These widgets are designed to help you seamlessly integrate Faire into your online presence and make it easy for retailers to discover and shop your products.

One option is the Shopify widget, which is designed specifically for Shopify users. This widget allows for easy installation and customization to match the look and feel of your Shopify store. Learn more about the Shopify widget here.

We also have a Faire Direct widget that is compatible with other website providers if you are not on Shopify. To add this to your website:

1. Open up the Faire Direct widget section in your brand portal
2. Choose which widget size you would like to embed (large or standard).
3. Once you have chosen a widget size, select the black Copy code button to copy the HTML
4. Open your website builder up and paste the HTML to embed the widget
5. Go to your website to verify that the new Faire Direct widget has been embedded

What is the Faire Direct widget for Shopify users?

Our Faire Direct widget for Shopify users is designed to blend seamlessly with your existing website. It automatically showcases your bestsellers, collections, and Faire reviews, is fully customizable to match your site’s design, and can be integrated with existing content on your wholesale page.

Getting the widget set up on your Shopify site is easy, and once it has been added, retailers can seamlessly click through it to your Faire shop to place an order. For setup steps, see to How do I add the Shopify widget to my site?

Alternatively, if you need a faster way to get set up, or if you use Shopify theme 1.0, see What if I need a faster setup method to add the Shopify widget to my website? Note that with this setup, the widget is generated through your Faire Shopify integration and is not customizable.

In order to set up the Shopify widget, you must first ensure that your Faire shop is Integrated with Shopify. For more information on getting the integration set up, see How do I set up my Shopify integration?

How do I add the Faire Direct Shopify widget to my site?

To get started with the Shopify widget setup, first make sure you are integrated with Shopify, and are using Shopify version 2.0 or above.

1. Locate your wholesale page in Shopify: To see your pages, go to Online Store under Sales Channels and click Pages. If you don’t already have a wholesale page, you’ll need to set one up before continuing:
   • To set up a wholesale page, select Add Page. Name your page, and Save.
2. Add the Faire app block to your Shopify wholesale template:
   • If you already have a Faire widget set up on the template, you’ll need to remove it first.
   • If you do not already have a wholesale page template set up, you can create one. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize. Click the Home page drop-down menu, select a template type, and then click Create template. In the Create a template dialog, do the following:
     • In the Name field, enter a unique name for your new template.
     • In the Based on drop-down menu, select the existing template that you want to base your new template on.
     • Click Create template.
   • Add the widget to your wholesale template by toggling over to Apps and selecting the Faire Direct widget. Once you do so, the widget will be installed in your template, and the widget will show up anywhere you have that template on your site.
   • Apply the template to your wholesale page:
     • From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Pages.
     • Click the page that you want to apply a new template to.
     • In the Online store section, click the Theme template drop-down menu, and then select the template that you want to apply to your page.
     • Click Save.
3. Customize your widget: You can fully customize the widget so that it blends seamlessly with your website, and features the content that you want retailers to see. You can adjust colors, text, buttons, and font, as well as choosing whether to display collections and reviews by toggling these on and off.
4. Save your work: once you are happy with how your widget looks, make sure to hit Save.

What if I need a faster setup method to add the Shopify widget to my website?

If you’re not looking for customization, or if you are using Shopify version 1.0, Faire can create a new page for your website that includes the widget- no work required.

Before setting up the Shopify widget, you must first ensure that your Faire shop is Integrated with Shopify. For more information on getting the integration set up, see How do I set up my Shopify integration?

1. From the Faire Direct Wholesale website page (in the lefthand menu, Faire Direct → Wholesale website) in your portal, navigate to the Shopify widget setup guide.
2. Under Simple setup, enable the full page widget link by selecting “Create page”. Upon enabling the page, it will instantly be live and visible through the link.
3. Add the link to your Shopify website menu.

Once enabled, Faire will create a new page for your Shopify website that contains the widget, which you can then add to your website menu. If you would like to disable this page after it’s been created, please contact Support.

How do I add the Faire Direct Button widget to my website?

We also have a button widget option that can be added to any website, which will direct your customers directly to your Faire shop in one click. To get this set up:

1. Open up the Faire Direct widget section in your brand portal
2. Select Copy button code to copy the HTML
3. Open your website builder up and paste the HTML to embed the widget
4. Go to your website to verify that the Faire Direct widget has been embedded
