This strong olive oil is a composition of the traditional Sicilian olive varieties Nocellara del Belice and Biancolilla. Intensely herbaceous taste with pronounced bitterness and good sharpness. Softly fruity with a lot of bite. The olives for this oil are grown in the Sicilian province of Agrigento, in the beautiful Caltabellotta area. At almost 1000 meters above sea level. The trees here grow alongside vines and agrums and are nurtured and cared for throughout the year according to Demeter guidelines. In early autumn, the green olives are carefully harvested by hand and cold-pressed. The oil is not filtered.
