The Bulk uploader tool allows you to upload an entire spreadsheet of new product listings to your shop. Follow the steps below to learn how.
To use the Bulk uploader, go to Bulk upload under Products on the left side of your portal.
How to add new products
Using the Bulk uploader, you can add new products using an existing catalog file or line sheet.
Faire, Etsy, WooCommerce, and Shopify catalog exports are supported.
Please upload a CSV or XLSX file type.
Your upload should include:
- Product name, description, SKU
- Wholesale price & retail price
- Links to images for each product
- Case size per product
If you are using a Faire Template to add new products:
- Please make sure to use the latest Faire template.
- After you upload your file, you’ll be able to upload your images by clicking on the “Add Photos” widget. Images must be added individually.
- If the ‘Add Photos’ widget does not appear, it means that our tool did not recognise the Faire template that you uploaded. Please make sure to use the latest version of the template - we would advise downloading a new faire template and transferring your info then attempting the upload again.
Upload your file, select Continue, Upload, and Close.
You will now see a summary of past uploads and their statuses. If there were any issues with an upload, you can select the upload for more information.
How to edit existing Faire products
Using the Bulk uploader, you can edit existing products using a CSV download from Faire.
Begin by downloading the products you wish to update from your Products. For full instructions, please see How do I download my products from Faire?
Make your desired edits in the downloaded CSV template and save the file.
To upload your new file:
- Go to your Bulk upload tab.
- Select Upload in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Drag-and-drop your edited CSV file or select the prompt to upload it from your computer.
- If uploading images, you can select Add photos at this stage, then drag-and-drop your image files or select the prompt to upload them from your computer.
- Select Continue.
- You’ll see a summary of what changes will occur when you upload your file. Select Back to make further edits, or Upload to finalize.
- Select Close when prompted.
You will see a list of past uploads and their status. If there were any issues with an upload, you can select the upload for more information.
How to update images using the Bulk uploader
If you’re making changes to your product images, you can paste the images’ URLs or file names directly into the Product Images column of your CSV file, or upload the files at the same time as your bulk upload using the Add photos button. You can use the same image for multiple products if needed, as long as it meets our Product photography guidelines.
