How do I use the Bulk editor?

You can edit products in bulk on your Products page.


What changes can I make using the Bulk editor?

The following product details can be updated through the Bulk editor:

  • Basic information—Category, description, made-in location, and language
  • Selling method and measurements—Selling method, item measurements (including weight), and packaged measurements
  • Pricing—Wholesale & retail price, markup, and currencies
  • Product settings—Pre-order settings
  • Inventory details—SKU, GTIN, on-hand inventory, and tariff code
  • Eco-friendly details—Product materials, packaging, and production
  • Product details—Color, material, occasion, season, style, theme

You can edit which columns are included in the Bulk editor by selecting Change columns. Select the box next to a field to include it in the editor, or deselect it to remove it from the editor. Any columns you remove can be added back later using the same steps. The Image, Product name and Status columns cant be removed.

The following details can’t be updated through the Bulk editor:

  • Unpublished product options
  • Product photos or videos
  • In-store testers
  • Customization/and or special requests

To edit any of these fields, you will need to use the product editor to edit each product individually in the Products page or use the Bulk upload tool. You can also submit a request to have the products updated for you by following the instructions in the following article: Submit a request to add or edit products.

Products can't be unpublished using the editor.


How do I use the Bulk editor?

To edit products using the Bulk editor:

  1. Go to your Products tab.
  2. Check the box next to at least one product. Checking multiple boxes will apply any changes you make to all selected products.
  3. Select Bulk edit.
  4. Make your desired changes.
    • To add or remove fields to the Bulk editor form, select Change columns.
  5. Press Save edits. If you have multiple pages, you must save each page before navigating away or you will lose your changes.
  6. Select Publish products if you want to upload your changes immediately, or Save without publishing to save your changes in a draft state.

Similar to how you would use a spreadsheet, you can drag and drop multiple rows and columns while editing, hold Shift on your keyboard to select multiple cells, and copy-and-paste a cell value into other cells.


Why can’t I edit prices?

If you are integrated with Shopify and have Price sync turned on, you can only edit the price on Shopify for the price type you have chosen to sync with.

Ex:

  • If you sync based on retail prices, you will be required to edit the retail price in Shopify to make price changes.
  • If you sync based on wholesale prices, you will be required to edit the wholesale price in Shopify to make price changes.

Why am I getting an error when publishing through the Bulk editor?

The following fields are required for a product to be published:

  • Product name
  • Product type
  • Case size
  • Wholesale price
  • Retailer price

Products that are ready to publish will show a green dot next to their status. Any products missing one or more fields will show a red circle icon with an exclamation point. You must resolve all error messages before you can publish your changes.


What if I make a mistake with my bulk edits?

You can use the Undo button (curved left arrow) to reverse your actions as long as you stay on the Bulk edit page. You can also use the Redo button (curved right arrow) to reapply your most recently undone action. Navigating away from the Bulk edit page will reset both buttons.
