Can I edit my product specific promotion?
After a product specific promotion is active, you can only edit the end date.
Can I add a product-specific promotion to an order that has already been placed?
No, once an order is placed, you won’t be able to change the price or promotion of a specific item in the order. As a workaround, you can add the equivalent amount as a discount to the order total before fulfilling the order.
This can be done directly from your order summary page. To add a discount to the order:
- Open the order summary page
- Click ‘edit order’ in the top right corner
- Add a percentage or dollar amount discount to the order that is equivalent to the promotion
Can I run a product-specific promotion while running a shop-wide promotion?
Yes, you can run product-specific promotions and shop-wide promotions concurrently.
When both promotions are applied, the product-specific promotion will be applied on the specific product first, then the shop-wide promotion will be applied to the discounted price.
Ex:
If a brand has a product-level promotion of 10% off on a $100 candle set, and a shop-wide promotion of 15% of their entire shop, the discounts will be applied as:
$100 x 10% off = $90
$90 x 15% off = $76.50
*Total of $23.50 off*
Can I offer a promotion on my Collection?
Yes, you can set up a promotion on all products listed in a collection:
- Select Promotions.
- Select Create New Promotion. This will be greyed out if you do not currently have a collection set up.
- From the drop-down select Collection Specific.
- This will open a new window, where you will be asked to fill in the promotion name, date, promotion eligibility, and location.
- For collections, the discount amount can only be a %.
- Finally, you will be asked to select a specific collection.
- Once all fields have been added select Save Promotion to publish your promotion. From the main Promotions page, Collections promotions are specified in the column Promotion Type.
Promotions at the product level cannot overlap with promotions at the collections level. If any of the products in your collection are currently on a product-level promotion, you will need to end that promotion before setting up a collections promotion.
Shop-wide promotions can be run at the same time as collections promotions, the collection promotion will be applied to the product listed in the collection first, then the shop-wide promotion will be applied to the discounted price.
How do I notify customers about my promotions?
Let your customers know when you have a promotion running by using your Email Campaigns tool. To set this up, visit Creating a campaign.
When available, the promo code will automatically be applied to the retailer’s entire order at checkout.
Can I see who viewed and used my promotion?
Yes, under your Promotions tab, you will be able to gauge the success of your offer by seeing how many retailers viewed the promotion on your shop and how often it was used.
Can I see if my promotion applied to an order?
Yes, on your Orders page, select the order you’d like to review. Within the Order Summary, your applied promotions will be listed there. Promotions are not shown on the order packing slip.
If you’re not seeing the promotion listed, review your Promotions tab to ensure that the order qualifies. If you’re unable to identify the reason why it’s not being applied, please let us know and we’ll connect you with a support specialist to help.
If the order is being exported to the US, the de minimus is based on the total before the promotions are applied. So, despite the order being less than $800 with the promotion, if the order total exceeds the $800 de minimus for imported orders before the promotion is applied, retailers might see duties applied to their orders.
Can I add a promotion to an order that has already been fulfilled?
No. You won’t be able to add a promotion or discount to an order that has already been fulfilled.
If you’d like to offer a retailer a promotion or a discount on a fulfilled order, the discount or promotion would need to be applied on the retailers next order with you.
Can I schedule a promotion?
Yes, you can set and schedule the timeframe for your promotion under your Promotions tab. On the last scheduled day of your promotion, the deal will expire at 11:59 pm in your time zone, regardless of where the retailer is based.
Can I deactivate my promotion?
After the promotion has been activated, you can deactivate your promotion any time prior to the end date. You can also extend the window of existing promotions as long as your additional promotions lined up do not overlap.
Can I reuse a promotion?
Yes, promotions can be reused once they have ended or are deactivated.
To reuse a promotion:
- Navigate to your promotions tab
- Click into the previously used promotion you'd like to use again
- Click 'reactivate promotion' in the top right corner
- Set a new promotion start and end date
- Click 'reactivate promotion'
Can I extend my Faire Market promotions post market?
Yes and no. If you had an exisitng promotion prior to the market and they overlap, this promotion will automacially become your market promotion. If the same promotion was set to continue after the market ends, this promotion would continue until the end date set prior to the market.
If you did not have a promotion set before the market, you can create the same promotion you had set for the market to start the day the market is over. Keep in mind this would need to be a net new promotion as extending the Faire Market promotion is not an option.
