Every time you receive a new order, you’ll also get an email with the buyer's name and order number in the subject line. You can accept each order through either the New Wholesale Order email that was sent to you, or in your Faire portal on the Orders page.
Once you accept an order, we’ll send your retailer an automated email notification that their order is processing.
How do I accept an order through my email?
To accept an order through your email:
- Open the order notification email from Faire.
- Select View order.
- Choose your expected ship date from the calendar.
- Select Accept order.
The retailer will receive an email notification that their order is processing.
How do I accept an order through my portal?

How long do I have to accept an order?
Orders that are not accepted within 30 days are auto-canceled. If you are not ready to fulfill an order you can use the Notes field within the order to leave yourself a reminder of any pending tasks needed to complete the order at a later date.

Can I automatically accept new orders?
Yes, you can automatically accept new orders on Faire. This feature allows you to streamline your order management process. Here's how it works:
-
Auto-Accept Options: You can choose to automatically accept either:
- Only reorders from Faire customers.
- All orders you receive on Faire.
- Note, replacement orders will not be automatically accepted and will require manual approval.
- Estimated Ship Date: For orders that are auto-accepted, the estimated ship date will align with your specified brand lead time. Ensure you have this lead time set to use auto-acceptance.
- Default Setting: It’s important to note that the default setting requires you to manually accept every order you receive.
Please note, this feature is being gradually released to all brands and may not yet be available in your account.
How to enable auto-acceptance
To turn on auto-acceptance for your orders:
- Go to your Account settings.
- Select the Orders tab.
- Under Order acceptance, choose your preferred method for accepting orders:
- Manually accept
- Automatically accept reorders only
- Automatically accept all orders
- Select Save to apply your changes.
Once you have set your preferences, the new settings will take effect for all future orders based on your selection.
Can I review a retailer's information before accepting an order?
Yes, you can view a new retailer’s store information from the order fulfillment page before you accept an order. To view this information, click on the Learn about this Retailer link on the right side of the order fulfillment page. This will open a pop-up where you can view their store address, store type, and their social media links, as well as a map showing their location in comparison to other existing customers in the area.
