In this guide

Yes, new brands joining Faire can use Shopify within the onboarding process to upload your Shopify product catalog to Faire.

How do I complete my onboarding using Shopify?

To complete your onboarding form using Shopify, have your Shopify login credentials ready and follow the steps listed below.

  1. Start by completing steps 1-4 of your onboarding form.
  2. On the Products tab select Add Products and choose Import from Shopify.
  3. Enter your Shopify store prefix within the Shopify URL field and select Connect Shopify.
    1. The last part of your URL (.myshopify.com) is automatically filled in, so you’ll need to enter the first portion. Replace any spaces with -.
    2. Select Connect Faire account.
      1. A pop up window will surface where you’ll select your Faire account that you want to connect to Shopify. The integration will now attempt to automatically link all products between Faire and Shopify. This step may take several minutes.
    3. Within the Set up your Faire sales channel page, you’ll make selections for the following options:
      1. How do you price your products on Shopify?
        1. You can choose I use retail pricing on Shopify or I use wholesale pricing on Shopify
      2. How should we calculate your wholesale prices?
        1. If you selected retail pricing on the previous setting, enter the percentage reduction of retail pricing that will be used for wholesale pricing.
        2. If you selected wholesale pricing on the previous setting, enter the percentage increase of wholesale pricing that will be used for retail pricing.
      3. Will you sell your products in cases?
        1. If you select Yes, we can assign a case size for all products.
        2. If you select No, Faire will default to case quantity of 1.
      4. How should we import your products to Faire?
        1. You can choose Import products to Faire as published to immediately make products available.
        2. You can choose Import products to Faire as draft to allow you to review and add more product details before your products are available.
  4. Once selections are made on this page, select Next.
  5. Within the Last step! Review your price, inventory and order syncing settings page, select Yes or No for the following features:
    1. Do you want to enable price syncing?
      1. If you select Yes, prices changes on Shopify will automatically update your prices on Faire.
      2. If you select No, price changes on Shopify will not automatically update, and you can manually adjust prices.
    2. Do you want to enable inventory syncing?
      1. If you select Yes, inventory counts on Faire will automatically update with the inventory counts on Shopify.
      2. If you select No, inventory counts will not automatically update inventory counts on Shopify.
    3. Do you want to enable order syncing?
      1. If you select Yes, orders will automatically sync to Shopify when they’ve been accepted on Faire.
      2. If you select No, orders will not automatically sync to Shopify.
  6. Select Finish and go to Faire
    1. You’ll be brought back to Faire where you can select Bulk edit to update details on your imported products such as wholesale and/or retail prices, and case sizes. Choose Edit Products to make any necessary edits.
    2. Select Publish Products once you’re finished making edits.
  7. Select Preview Shop Page to view your final shop.
