How do I manage my Shopify settings?


In this guide


You’ll be able to manage your settings for inventory sync, order sync, and price sync within your Faire: Sell Wholesale sales channel app.


What is an inventory sync?

Inventory sync lets you connect your Shopify inventory with Faire, based on your inventory locations. For more information on inventory sync, please see What is Shopify inventory sync?


What is an order sync?

Order sync lets you automatically sync your accepted Faire orders with Shopify. For more information, please see What is Shopify order sync?


What is a price sync?

Price sync is a feature that lets you automatically update Faire prices to match those in Shopify. This integration currently only syncs Faire-supported currencies. If you use a different currency in Shopify, your prices will need to be manually entered. For more information, visit What is Shopify price sync?


How do I match an existing Faire product to a Shopify product?

Existing products on Faire need to be matched to a corresponding Shopify product to ensure syncs continue to work optimally.

You can choose to have Faire do this automatically by matching the SKU on the Faire product to a SKU on Shopify that is an exact and unique match, or you can opt to do this manually which means that any products on Faire without a match will need to matched manually in the Product linking tab in your Shopify sales channel.

To select how your products will be matched:

  1. Select Settings from the left-hand side of your portal.
  2. Go to the Integrations tab, and select Shopify.
  3. Select Faire: sell wholesale from your Sales channels.
  4. Choose Preferences.
  5. Within the Product Matching section, and select Match automatically or Match products myself.
  6. Select Save at the top of your screen once you’ve made your setting selection.

Why can’t I see the Preferences tab in the Faire: Sell Wholesale app?

If you're trying to adjust sync settings in the Faire: Sell Wholesale sales channel app but can’t find the Preferences tab, it’s likely because the initial setup hasn’t been completed. To finish your set up, you’ll need to:

  • Link at least one product between Shopify and Faire
  • Complete the set up of the Shopify integration

If you’re not ready to link your entire catalog, you can link one product to be able to access the Preferences tab to adjust your sync settings.


Where can I make product linking updates?

  1. Select Settings from the left-hand side of your portal.
  2. Go to the Integrations tab, and select Shopify.
  3. Select Faire: Sell wholesale from your Sales channels.
  4. Choose the Product linking tab.
  5. There are two tabs you can choose from:
    1. Linked products: select Edit
    2. Not linked products: select Link product.
  6. Use the search bar to find the matching product in Shopify by name or SKU.
  7. Select the correct product match and confirm.
  8. Select Save.

Where can I adjust my sync settings?

For inventory sync, order sync, or price sync settings, these can be adjusted on or off. Follow these steps to adjust your sync settings:

  1. Select Settings from the left-hand side of your portal.
  2. Go to the Integrations tab, and select Shopify.
  3. Select Faire: Sell wholesale from your Sales channels.
  4. Choose the Preferences tab.
  5. Scroll to Price sync, Inventory sync or Order sync to Turn on or Turn off.
  6. Select Save to make the updates.

How do I disconnect my Shopify account?

  1. Select Settings from the left-hand side of your portal.
  2. Go to the Integrations tab, and select Shopify.
  3. Select Faire: Sell Wholesale from your Sales channels.
  4. Scroll to the Faire: Sell Wholesale card and select Disconnect.
  5. Confirm you’d like to Disconnect.
