When setting up your shop during onboarding, you’ll have several options for adding your product catalog:
- Importing from Shopify
- Uploading a spreadsheet
- Adding products individually
The following information is required for adding products to your shop:
- Product name
- Product description
- Wholesale price
- Retail price
- Case quantity
- Minimum order quantity
- Images (links or JPG or PNG files if you are planning to share an image folder)
- Product option details (if applicable)
Option 1: Import from Shopify
For Shopify users, products can be imported directly into Faire. For step by step instructions visit Onboarding with Shopify
Option 2: Upload a spreadsheet
To upload your catalog file, we recommend using either:
-
Our Faire catalog template
-
A catalog export from Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Wix, etc.
When uploading your catalog, be sure to include wholesale pricing to the file or include wholesale pricing instructions in your notes to the team. (Ex: "Wholesale prices are 50% of retail prices.")
Within the upload process, you’ll be able to share your product images. At least one image is required per product. Do not paste actual images into the catalog.
Select one of the following options from the drop down menu to share your images:
- Upload a File:
- Select if you want to share your images in a zip folder
- All images must be labeled by the product name and/or SKU so our team can easily match the images to the products
- If using a Faire Template, paste your image file names in the image columns
- Use Photos from my website
- Only use if you do not have your images saved in a folder
- Link to Google Drive or Dropbox Folder
- Select if you want to share your images in a Google Drive or Dropbox folder
- Don’t forget to set access to Public temporarily
- All images must be labeled by the product name and/or SKU so our team can easily match the images to the products
- If using a Faire Template, paste your image file names in the image columns
