Issue with my order payout

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your payout. Ensuring you receive accurate and timely payments is our top priority.


Reviewing your payout

When troubleshooting your payout, please review the following reminders regarding Faire's commission and payout structure:

  1. Commissions: Commissions are calculated based on the order subtotal.
  2. Damaged/ Missing Items: If any items are marked as damaged or missing, their cost will be deducted from the payout of the order they originated from. If you send replacements, payment for the replacements will be included in a new payout.
    • You'll receive a replacement order request if your customer wants a new product. No replacements are needed if this follow-up order is not received.
  3. Payment Processing Fees: Payment processing fees depend on your selected payout method and your shop's location. For detailed information, please refer to the payout article that corresponds to your location:
    • If you're based in North America, visit How much does it cost to sell on Faire if I’m based in North America?
    • If you're based outside of North America, visit How much does it cost to sell on Faire if I’m based outside of North America?
  4. Shipping: The amount that you will be reimbursed for shipping costs may depend on your shipping method, shipping promotions, and whether or not you participate in our Insider Partnership program.
    • If you offer flat-rate shipping, you will be reimbursed for shipping costs based on the flat rate you have established. You are responsible for covering any difference if there are discrepancies between your flat rate and the actual shipping cost.

    • If you are offering a free shipping promotion, you will be responsible for shipping charges on your orders.
    • If you are an Insider Partner, you will be responsible for shipping charges on orders from your eligible 0% commission Faire Direct Insiders. For more, visit The Insider Partnership for North American brands
    • For select brands, if Faire is paying for shipping on an order and you choose to fulfill it using your own carrier account and label, we’ll reimburse you based on Faire’s negotiated rates. This means if our rate is lower than your reported cost, you will cover the difference. For more information visit, An update to reimbursements when Faire pays for shipping.
    • When tracking is added to your order, we wait for the carrier’s verified parcel weight and dimensions before confirming the final shipping cost. During this 24-hour window, the shipping cost will appear as “TBD.” This temporary status does not delay next-day payouts.
