[Original Case Pack: 30 units] A refreshing yet deep flavor is the hallmark of this premium yuzu citrus juice ponzu sauce. Made by a 330 years-old, esteemed soy sauce producer in Ibaraki Prefecture, this ponzu is a wonderful marriage of unpasteurized pure soy sauce, brewed and aged in wooden barrels, and aromatic yuzu citrus sourced in the same prefecture. It is also blended with vinegar and bonito to produce a perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and umami. Its refreshing citrus flavor and clean, yet profound soy sauce combine perfectly to accompany grilled fish, oyster, steak, barbecue, gyoza dumplings, and hot pot dishes like shabu shabu. It can be great for dressing cold dishes like carpaccio, salad, and cold tofu as well. You can also enjoy this premium ponzu with sashimi.

this review is difficult for me because I enjoy their products, but they don’t seem to care about customer service and good protective packaging. three separate shipments were damaged, and Umami didn’t make efforts to change the protective packaging. I asked her to individually wrap each bottle after the first damaged shipment..She literally texted no. Notice only one or two pieces of bubble wrap in the picture. Wafer thin boxes. Faire tried to negotiate on my behalf. They ignored Faire.

Superb selection of really unique items! I was initially a little skeptical on how these would fit in to our store, as we are mostly cheese and charcuterie focused, but they've really taken off. Packaging is always superb, and I love the flexibility to order single items - makes it much easier to try new things. My one quibble would be that the Faire descriptions on some items aren't for the right item - luckily it is easy to go to Umami Insider's website to get correct text.
