I'm always a little hesitant when trying a new brand of paddlefish caviar, but I'm glad I tried OLMA's product. I think the vendor spends a few days aggregating orders to reduce shipping costs, but once it was shipped, delivery took 1 day. The tin has an actual rubber seal and it truly maintains freshness better than the blue tins, if you've bought those before. As for the caviar itself, it's incredible. A true malossol that tastes like caviar, not caviar brine. Best paddlefish caviar ever!

There's better Kaluga out there. This one was mushy and if I didn't know better, frozen then thawed and sold to me.

We’re very sorry to hear that our Kaluga did not meet your expectations and that you found the texture mushy. Quality issues with perishable products like caviar need to be addressed immediately upon receipt, not weeks later after the product has expired. In this case, the concern was raised 38 days after delivery, by which time the caviar was already past its expiration date, so we are no longer able to fairly assess its condition or offer a resolution. —OLMA Caviar • May 8, 2026
