Insider is our monthly paid membership program for retailers on Faire. Retailers who sign up for the membership program will receive the following benefits:
- Free shipping for thousands of select brands on Faire. Some require an order of €300 (or your local currency equivalent) to qualify.
- Import duties covered for thousands of brands on Faire.
- Exclusive, early access to Faire’s online buying events and new brand arrivals on the site.
These benefits are covered by Faire and the monthly membership fees paid by retailers. There is no cost to brands with this program. Brands do not need to sign up or take any action to have their retailers be eligible for these benefits.
Our Insider program for US retailers offers different benefits. To learn more about that program, visit How does Insider for US retailers work?

How does Faire determine if a retailer receives Insider benefits with my brand?
For each retailer, we personalize which brands have free shipping and import duties as part of the retailer’s Insider membership. We evaluate several factors in deciding which brands have shipping and duties covered, including your shipping location in proximity to the retailer and the retailer’s shopping interests.
There is no way to request that your brand be covered for shipping and import duties for a specific retailer. We do periodically adjust which brands are covered for Insider's free shipping and duties coverage.
How can I see which retailers had shipping and duties covered by Insider on their orders with my brand?
If the retailer had shipping and duties covered through Insider on a brand order, you will see the Insider badge on the Orders page in your portal. You will also see the Insider badge on the Order Details page for a brand order on which the retailer had shipping and duties covered by Insider.
How does Faire cover the cost of import duties?
As the importer, the retailer is responsible for paying import duties and value-added tax (VAT) to the carrier.
If the retailer qualifies for free duties under Insider:
we’ll automatically apply a discount to their invoice to cover the estimated cost of these duties
if the actual duties end up being higher than our estimate, they can request reimbursement for the difference through their Faire account. In some cases, they may need to upload a detailed invoice from the carrier to support their claim.
When the order ships, the confirmation email will explain how the duties are covered. If your retailer has any questions, direct them to Faire support for help.
Who covers the cost if I am running a free shipping promotion?
If you are running a free shipping promotion and the retailer has Insider free shipping on the order, their Insider membership will cover the cost of shipping.
If you used Ship on your Own, you will still receive your payout for the shipping cost.
If you used Ship with Faire to fulfill the order, the shipping cost will not be billed to you.
