You can combine orders by selecting the Ship with another order option when you are selecting the shipping method for the order. This can be done with orders that you’re shipping on your own, and with orders that you’re shipping with Faire.
To access this option, you’ll need to add tracking or create a shipping label for one of the orders you want to combine. Once this is completed, the option to connect or combine orders will become available.
How can I combine multiple orders when using Ship with Faire?
Once you’ve generated a Ship with Faire shipment on one order, you can ship other orders in the same shipment as long as they are going to the same address. To do this, please follow the steps below:
- Select Ship with another order in the shipping method section of your order fulfillment page.
- A modal will appear showing shipments that this order can be added to.
- Select a shipment to add the current order to it.
- Select Confirm to combine the orders and continue with fulfillment.
How can I combine multiple orders when shipping on my own?
Once you’ve added your tracking and shipping cost information to one order, you can include other orders in the shipment by following the steps below:
- Select Ship with another order in the shipping method section of your order fulfillment page.
- A modal will appear showing shipments that this order can be added to.
- Select a shipment to add the current order to it.
- Select Confirm to combine the orders and continue with fulfillment.
Alternatively, you can also add the same tracking information to multiple orders to indicate that they have been shipped together.
Can I edit combined orders?
Yes, you can make edits to combined orders using the Edit link on each order’s fulfillment page. Please note that you will need to delete the shipment from the order before you can access the Edit link. Once you’ve made the edits, you can add the shipment back to the order and continue fulfillment.
Why can’t I combine some orders?
The Ship with another order option will appear only when all of the following are true:
- Both orders are going to the same retailer and delivery address.
- A shipment has already been created on one order (tracking number or Ship with Faire label).
- Neither order has been delivered.
- The shipment was created within the last two days.
- Both orders are from the same brand account.
-
The shipment is domestic (not international).
Why isn’t the “Ship with another order" option available?
The option may not appear if the orders don’t meet the eligibility requirements.
Common ineligibility reasons and how to resolve them:
- Different shipping addresses or retailers: Each order must be fulfilled separately if they’re going to different locations or customers.
- International shipments: Combining orders isn’t supported for international deliveries.
- Orders already delivered: If one or both orders have been delivered, you can enter the same tracking number on each order to indicate they were shipped together.
- Different brand accounts: Orders from different brand accounts must be fulfilled separately.
- Shipment created more than two days ago: In this case, you can still show the orders were shipped together by entering the same tracking number on each order.
Can I combine international orders?
No, combining orders is not supported for international shipments.
An international shipment is any order where the brand and retailer are in different countries (ex: US to CA, UK to EU, or Mexico to US).
What should I do if I already shipped international orders together?
If you shipped multiple international orders in the same package, you can still mark them correctly in your account.
Option 1: Enter the same tracking number on both orders
1. Open each order separately.
2. Enter the same tracking number and shipping cost.
3. Confirm fulfillment.
You may see a “tracking number already in use” message. This is expected, and you can continue. The same tracking number can be used across multiple orders to show they shipped together.
Option 2: Consolidate orders before shipping
If the orders have not shipped yet:
1. Open one order and use the Edit option to add items from the other order.
2. Cancel the duplicate order after moving the items.
If you created a Ship with Faire label for one order but included another order in the same package, enter the same tracking number from the first order on the second order. Do not create a second label.
Why is the Confirm button disabled when combining orders?
If the Confirm button is not selectable, it usually means a Ship with Faire label already exists on the order you’re trying to add.
To resolve this:
1. Cancel the existing Ship with Faire label on that order.
2. Try combining the orders again.
Why do I see “tracking number already in use”?
This message appears when you enter the same tracking number on multiple orders.
This is expected behavior. The message is a notice, not a restriction. You can proceed and use the same tracking number to indicate that orders shipped together.
What should I do if the option to Ship with another order is missing, but my orders are eligible?
If your orders meet all eligibility requirements and the option to Ship with another order still doesn’t appear, you can use a tracking workaround to mark them as shipped together.
To do this:
1. Open the first order and add the tracking number with the full shipping cost.
2. Open the second order and enter the same tracking number.
3. Enter a shipping cost of $0 for the second order.
Both orders will be marked as shipped under the same shipment.
How are shipping costs calculated for orders shipping together?
When shipping orders together, the full shipping costs should be added to the first order when the shipment is created. All subsequent orders that are being shipped with it will have a shipping cost of $0 on the retailer’s invoice.
