EU Digital Services Act

In this guide

The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a regulation introduced by the European Union to create a safer and more transparent digital environment. The DSA has established clear obligations for intermediaries (like Faire), to address risks, protect consumer rights, and ensure transparency in their operations.

At Faire, we fully support the DSA’s goals of fostering responsible and ethical practices among intermediary services. The regulation prioritizes safeguarding fundamental user rights, promoting accountability, and ensuring a secure online space for users. Additionally, it aims to encourage innovation and competitiveness by standardizing rules for intermediary services across the EU.

Faire adheres to these principles through, among other things, proactive content moderation, transparent governance structures, and rigorous compliance efforts, ensuring that our service remains reliable and secure for brands and retailers worldwide.

Faire and the Digital Services Act

Faire, established in 2017, is a global wholesale (B2B) marketplace that connects hundreds of thousands of brands and retailers, fostering a service that enables discovery, efficient ordering, and fulfillment. Our focus on empowering independent businesses drives our continuous innovation and the growth of our service.

We are not a public service, and as a brand or retailer, you must submit an application to join Faire.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and transparent service, Faire is publishing the below annual Transparency Reports in accordance with the Digital Services Act (DSA). This report comprehensively overviews our content moderation processes, tools, and outcomes from January 1st to December 31st, 2024.

How to report a DSA issue

We're dedicated to ensuring Faire is the most trusted marketplace for independent retailers and brands to do business. If you have reason to believe that information or products on Faire are illegal, please let us know.

In compliance with the European Digital Services Act (DSA), Faire has established a form for communications of DSA-related issues. It should not be used for any other purpose.

If you have reason to believe that information or products on Faire are illegal, please notify us by completing the following form: Report a DSA issue. We will review your notification and take appropriate action.

Please also use the form for any inquiries, submissions, or other communications that fall under the scope of the DSA.

Annual reports

Faire’s annual transparency report (.csv) is published every 12 months. The report is currently available in English.
