A perennial Betty favorite since 2013, these adorable bezel set heart charm necklaces are made literally from scraps of scraps, adding a new link to the upcycling chain to further reduce waste and turn it into something fresh. Phenomenal craftsmanship of our California board builders combined with superbly skilled silversmiths in Bali make these designs shine. 18" OUR PROCESS: Collaborating with local surfboard builders, we developed a highly innovative process to capture & repurpose excess resin left over from making surfboards-- a material now known as "Surfite". Each stripe of color in Betty B. surfite jewelry is from a surfboard hand-crafted & shaped here in California. These boards now ride waves, always keeping you connected to the stoke of the ocean. How cool is that? COLOR INFO: The resin colors in this jewelry come together based on what color surfboards are being made in each batch, so it's always a surprise and always different. One thing is for sure, they are always cool.

We had a customer come in wearing one of the necklaces and we liked them so much that we placed an order! And also did some of the SeaGlass Bracelets as well. Very well made and can be worn in the water.
