Collaborating with local surfboard builders, we developed a highly innovative process to capture & repurpose excess resin left over from making surfboards-- a material now known as "Surfite". It's not easy, but it's so worth it! Instead trash littering local landfills, the scrap resin is transformed into Betty B. Surfite jewelry & becomes treasure for surfers & ocean lovers across the globe. Each stripe of color in Betty B. surfite jewelry is from a surfboard hand-crafted & shaped here in California. We had a customer come in wearing one of the necklaces and we liked them so much that we placed an order! And also did some of the SeaGlass Bracelets as well. Very well made and can be worn in the water.
