Fresh Garlic Herb sheep milk cheese is patterned after Brebis, a traditional French sheep milk cheese, and is similar to ricotta. Packaged in an adorable 3.5oz tub, a reclosable 16oz size, & a 10lb food service size. Our Fresh Garlic Herb cheese is lactic style and fresh, meaning it’s un-aged. The cheese ripens and drains for 48 hours, after which it is promptly packaged. This sheep cheese has a soft, delicate curd. It crumbles well when cold and becomes more spreadable as it warms up. For people familiar with Fresh Chèvre, that is a good comparison, but without the gaminess sometimes associated with goat cheese.
