More unusual pearls! Square shaped Biwa freshwater pearls, all OOAK, 17” knotted on my medium tan handspun mermaid rope, matching coin pearl clasp. I learn how to spin cord when I was in high school in Home Economics class, I was about 15, we made all kinds of items but what I loved making most was rope that could be used as a necklace. I have been in the pearl business for many, many years and use all kinds of material, from leather to silk to linen and my own hand spun nautical grade cord. My rope comes out to app. 1.5mm in size, delicate but super strong. All my products are made right here in Florida on the gorgeous Emerald Coast.
