At Better Basics Milling, we're committed to bringing flour back to its purest form. Founder Alyssa spent 7 years gluten-free, struggling with chronic digestive issues, only to realize the true culprit wasn't gluten itself—it was the non organic-grains, additives, cheap synthetic vitamins, bleaching agents, and industrial processing used in commercial flours. Determined to find a better way, Alyssa made it her mission to restore traditional flour milling methods. Using only certified organic grains, Better Basics Milling stone mills our flour slowly and carefully, preserving the integrity of the grain and retaining its natural vitamins and nutrients. We mill to order, ensuring every batch is fresh, nutritious, and full of rich, authentic flavour. And most importantly we make flour with 1 ingredient, organic grains—just as flour was meant to be.
