Who can buy on Faire?
To buy on Faire, you must be a business purchasing products either for resale or for business use.
Retailers typically operate with the intent to resell products to customers through their own online, brick & mortar, or consistent pop-up store. Faire also supports business-use buyers who purchase products for their own use, such as for offices, restaurants, or hotels.

What information is needed to get verified to buy on Faire?
To get verified to buy on Faire, your business profile can be filled out via the notification center in the top right-hand corner of your portal or through the banner at the top of your portal. You may be asked for any of the following details:
- Address of your storefront or business
- Store or business website
- Social media profiles
- Photos of your store or business
- Screenshots of your website
- Contracts for pop up events
In certain cases, we might also request proof of ownership. This could include:
- Business license
- Sales and Use Tax License
- Lease
- Website domain
- Utility bill
What are the requirements for submitting photos of my store?
We recommend completing your store profile on a desktop or laptop computer with Google Chrome as your internet browser for best results. Some additional guidelines include:
- For brick & mortar stores, submit both interior and exterior photos, even if it’s under construction.
- Exterior photos should show the entirety of your storefront. Include a view of your store’s sign and street number.
- Interior photos should include as much of your store that fits in the frame.
- If you operate as a pop-up shop, make sure your sign is visible in the photo.
- If you operate as an online-only shop, include screenshots of your website.
- Don’t submit close-ups of your products.
- Don’t submit screenshots of your store on Google Maps.
What should I do if the requested information doesn’t apply to my business?
Provide as much information as you can about your business. If the requested information doesn’t align with how your operate, provide relevant information instead. Our team will follow up if we have any questions.
Ex: If you receive a request for photos of your brick & mortar store, but your business operates online or does not have a storefront, upload screenshots of your website or other relevant materials.
What happens if I don’t have all the information that’s being requested?
We’ll hold orders for 30 days, so if you’re waiting on documentation from another party, we recommend only submitting your store profile when you have all requested information.
What happens if my physical store isn’t open?
Brick & mortar stores, pop-up events, and upcoming vendor booths can place orders before your official opening.
What happens if my online store hasn't launched yet?
For online stores, you can order from Faire once your online store is live. If you place an order and your online store hasn’t launched yet, your order may be canceled and you won’t be charged.
Please note, if your store is not yet live, we can consider reviewing detailed screenshots of its development (ie. checkout page, cart, domain landing page, etc.) in order to approve your account.
What happens after I submit my verification details?
Once our team receives your submission, we will review your details within 24 hours. If your account is verified, you’ll get an email confirmation that your orders are processing. If we’re unable to verify your account, we’ll notify you by email, and your orders will be cancelled.
What happens if more information is requested for verification?
In some cases, you may receive an email that contains an additional request for information to continue the verification process. You will be informed through a notification in your portal if additional information is needed. What should I do if the form isn’t working when submitting my information?
If your form isn’t submitting or nothing happens when you select Submit try the following:
- Make sure all required fields are filled and file uploads meet the size/format limits
- Refresh your internet connection and update your browser
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Switch to a different browser
- Disable any browser extensions temporarily
- Log out and back into your Faire account
