Faire Insider Terms & Conditions
Effective: February 7, 2025
By participating in Faire’s paid membership program for Canadian Retailers, as further described below (“Insider”), you are agreeing to these Faire Insider Terms & Conditions (“Insider Terms”). In addition to these Insider Terms, your participation in Insider is subject to the Faire Retailer Terms of Service and the Faire Privacy Policy. The terms “you” and “your” refer to the participating Insider Member (defined below). Capitalized terms not defined in these Faire Insider Terms have the meanings given in the Faire Retailer Terms of Service. Any translation from English to another
language is provided as a courtesy. Faire makes no representations or warranties with regard to the
accuracy of the translation and, in the case of any discrepancy, the English version of these Insider
Terms will control.
IF YOU PURCHASE AN INSIDER MEMBERSHIP (DEFINED BELOW) AND PAY BY CREDIT
CARD, DEBIT CARD OR BANK TRANSFER (WHERE AVAILABLE), YOUR INSIDER MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW ON A MONTHLY OR ANNUAL (AS APPLICABLE) BASIS UNTIL CANCELED OR MODIFIED PURSUANT TO THE TERMS SET FORTH BELOW, AND YOU EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZE FUTURE CHARGES TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD ACCORDING TO THESE INSIDER TERMS.
Insider
Through Insider, Faire offers Retailers who meet certain requirements the opportunity to purchase a paid membership (“Insider Membership”) which provides eligible Retailers access to certain features and programs on the Services not offered with the free Retailer Account. Eligible Retailers who enroll and purchase an Insider Membership are called “Insider Members.” To be eligible for Insider, a Retailer must be invited by Faire to enroll in Insider. Retailers can receive an invite in several ways, including via email and within the Services. These Insider Terms apply to Insider for Canadian Retailers, other terms may apply elsewhere.
Program Features
By enrolling in Insider, Insider Members receive (i) free shipping on various Brands, selected by Faire in Faire's sole discretion (as further described below), (ii) early access to Faire’s virtual trade shows, and (iii) other features that may be offered by Faire from time to time. Without limiting any other terms of these Insider Terms, the features of Insider may be modified or amended from time to time, in Faire’s sole discretion. Please note that, unless otherwise explicitly offered by Faire, free shipping does not cover import, customs or excise duties, which Insiders are still required to pay in full (when applicable).
Brands Selected for Free Shipping will Vary. The Brands selected for free shipping are personalized for each Insider Member by Faire, and the Brands included in your Insider Membership may change from time to time. Faire considers several factors when deciding which Brands to include in your Insider Membership, including a Brand’s shipping location and estimated shipping cost, among other factors. Faire may also increase the required order minimum (i.e., above the Brand Order Minimum) to allow for certain Brands to be part of your Insider Membership and eligible for free shipping. Faire does not guarantee that any specific Brand or product will be included as part of your Insider Membership and eligible for free shipping at any time or for any specific period of time.
Not all Orders Eligible. Not all orders from, or products made by, one of your Insider designated Brands may be eligible for free shipping. If an order is eligible for Insider free shipping, the order’s free shipping status will be indicated in your cart during checkout. Examples of when Insider free shipping does not apply include:
- The relevant products are part of Faire’s “Sale Collections” inventory; or
- Your order does not meet the applicable order minimum, whether it is the Brand Order Minimum or an order minimum set by Faire as described above.
Insiders are not entitled to receive retroactive reimbursement for shipping costs.

Insider Memberships
1. General. When you purchase an Insider Membership, you expressly authorize us (or our third-party payment processor(s)) to charge you the cost of the Insider Membership, plus any applicable taxes, duties and other charges (the “Membership Fee”) and to provide your payment information to such third party payment processor(s) so we can complete your transaction. By initiating a transaction, you agree to the pricing, payment and billing policies applicable to such fees and charges, as posted or otherwise communicated to you. All payments for your Insider Membership are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly provided in these Insider Terms. All fees and applicable taxes, if any, are payable in Canadian dollars. We will charge your default payment method on file in your Retailer Account for the Membership Fee. If such payment method fails, we reserve the right to charge the Membership Fee to any other payment method you have included in your Retailer Account. The default payment frequency for the Membership Fee is monthly; however, Faire may choose, in its sole discretion, to offer certain Retailers the option to pay the Membership Fee on an annual basis. The payment frequency option(s) available to you will be presented to you.
2. Enrollment. When you receive an invitation and thereafter choose to sign up for an Insider Membership, you will receive a confirmation email. You will be charged the Membership Fee at the beginning of your Insider Membership and at the start of every (a) thirty (30) day period (if you enrolled in monthly payments), or (b) one (1) year period (if you enrolled in annual payments) thereafter at the then-current Membership Fee until canceled or modified in accordance with the instructions for cancellation or modification below. The Membership Fee will be charged to your payment method as stated above. You acknowledge that the timing of when you are billed may vary due to the payment frequency option(s) available to you upon enrollment, free trials and other promotional offers, or changes in your subscription or payment method. To see your next recurring billing date, log in to your Retailer Account and view your account details. We may also offer you the ability to pause your Insider Membership for a specified period of time. If you do not cancel or modify your Insider Membership before the end of the pause period, billing will resume automatically.
Membership is active as soon as an Insider Member enrolls. However, benefits cannot be applied retroactively. The Membership Fee and any orders you purchase are accounted separately. That means that the Membership Fee is separate and apart from amounts due for orders placed on Faire and does not impact any limits applicable to the net terms that may be made available to you by Faire. In addition, because the accounts are separate, you may not apply any credits that may be available in your Retailer Account towards payment of your Membership Fee.
3. Promotional Offers. When you first enroll in Insider, we may offer a free trial in our sole discretion. Availability of a free trial is not guaranteed and, if offered, a free trial is only available to new Insider Members enrolling in Insider for the first time and subject to any other specified terms disclosed during your enrolment or in other materials provided to you. Certain limitations may also apply with respect to combining free trials with any other offers.If you receive a free trial, your first Membership Fee will be charged to your payment method immediately following the end of the free trial, and such charges will continue every (a) thirty (30) day period (if you enrolled in monthly payments) or (b) one (1) year period (if you enrolled in annual payments) thereafter, unless canceled or modified in accordance with the instructions for cancellation or modification below. Faire may also offer, in its sole discretion, promotions (e.g., a promotional price, or bundled offer) subject to promotional terms disclosed during your enrollment or in other materials provided to you. If you receive a promotion, Faire will begin charging your payment method for your Insider Membership at the then-current, non-promotional price after your promotion ends in accordance with the annual or monthly payment schedule described herein unless you cancel prior to the end of your promotion or unless otherwise disclosed. Faire reserves the right to modify or terminate any particular promotional offer (including free trials) applicable to the Insider Program at any time, in Faire’s sole discretion and without advance notice.
4. Cancellation or Modification of Your Insider Membership; No Refunds. You can always cancel or modify your Insider Membership, at any time prior to the end of the current billing period, free trial or promotion (as applicable) subject to these Insider Terms. To cancel or modify your Insider Membership and avoid incurring charges or modify the charges incurred for the next given period, you must notify us of your cancellation or modification before we charge your payment method. You can cancel or modify your Insider Membership through your Retailer Account settings. You can also cancel or modify your Insider Membership at any time by contacting us by clicking here. If you cancel your Insider Membership, you may use your membership until the end of the then-current billing period, and it will not be renewed once it expires. If you modify your Insider Membership from monthly billing to annual billing, or vice versa (in each case, provided that such option is available to you), you may use your membership until the end of the then-current billing period, and your Insider Membership will thereafter be renewed on an annual or monthly basis, as selected by you (in each case, provided that such option is available to you). You will not be eligible for a pro-rated refund of the Membership Fee paid for the then-current billing period if you cancel or modify your Insider Membership, but the program features available to you through your Insider Membership will continue through the end of your current billing period. If, however, you cancel your Insider Membership while enrolled through a free trial or promotion, cancellation may be effective immediately upon Faire’s receipt of the cancellation notification. If your Retailer Account is terminated by you or Faire for any reason, you will lose access to your Insider Membership program features and will not be eligible for a pro-rated refund of the Membership Fee paid for the then-current billing period.
5. Suspension, Modification and Termination of Insider. Without limiting any other remedies
available to Faire (including any remedies under the Faire Retailer Terms), and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Faire reserves the right to remove you from Insider and otherwise suspend or terminate your Insider Membership as reasonably determined by Faire in its sole discretion (for example, due to late payments or high rates of return). Faire also reserves the right to modify or cancel Insider or modify these Insider Terms, at any time in its sole discretion, without advance notice. If Faire cancels or discontinues Insider at any time, all Insider benefits will cease. If Faire modifies these Insider Terms and the modified Insider Terms are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cancel your enrollment and opt out of Insider, in accordance with the conditions prescribed in these Insider Terms.
