Description
BLANK INSIDE Celebrate a human wedding with a bird wedding! Rosa C. Petherick created this happy and fancy little bird bride and groom with their tiny daisies. Best wishes to the happy couple! Rosa C. Petherick (1871–1931), a British book illustrator born in Addiscombe, Croydon, hailed from an artistically inclined family. She was musically gifted, briefly playing violin in the Streatham Symphony Orchestra. She gained recognition for her work in design competitions, earning honorable mentions in The Studio and The International Studio. Petherick illustrated numerous children's books and periodicals, notably for Blackie and Son Limited, with her etchings known for their heavy outlines and depictions of children at play. This product was custom-designed and printed at our location in Seattle.
