Description
Adhering to traditional byzantine iconography Hand-made silk screen Gold leafing on a wooden base The Passion symbols, spear, cross, sponge, nails, and the crown of thorns in the hands of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, together in an icon of the Virgin Mary and the Child. The original painting is attributed to the hagiographer Andreas Ritzos, in the fifteenth century, whose works are found in Patmos and Italy. The icon is exhibited at the Byzantine Museum of Athens.

Our customers love these icons (seriographs) created in Greece. These lovely pieces allow the faithful to enjoy iconography in their homes at reasonable price points. The small magnet icons are particularly popular in our shop.

The customers at my organization are loving the icons from The Art of the Icon. There are some less expensive options but people have been spending more money for these icons because the quality is great! The price is good and they always ship carefully and quickly.
