Founded in 2007 Lumia Designs greeting cards are whimsical, elegant and sophisticated. Each card is hand glittered and made with love in California. The focus is to help people connect, celebrate, inspire and console. Lumia cards are like small gems, a pleasure to treasure and to share. Stationery designs are a combination of original art and vintage ephemera. Choose from a wide array of themes and sentiments for all occasions and life’s notable moments. Suzanne Grace Karlson, Owner & Designer Making greeting cards has been a long time passion for me. After studying Graphic Design at Fashion Institute of Technology and graduating with a BFA from New York Institute of Technology, I entered the corporate interior design world. Unexpectedly, I returned to my true passion…graphics and paper. The reawakening came in 2007 while visiting the Illuminated Manuscripts of The Renaissance exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The jewel-like colors, attention to detail and glow of gold leaf alive in those luminous miniature paintings inspired me to create Lumia Designs. I hope you enjoy exploring my stationery collection.
