The Lollo – Nocellara del Belice is handpicked the last two weeks of October from olive south facing groves in Partanna and Campobello di Mazara. With the olives being position above 200m from sea level, the stress of the mountainous terrain and southern sun creates stress on the trees, offering a high-quality with significant character, exuding balance between the flavours, creating harmony. The oil is intensely fruit forward in both aroma and flavour with the presence of tomato predominating. Sensory: Medium fruity intensity with notes of tomato, artichoke, apple, green almond, freshly cut grass and aromatic fresh herbs.
