Offered in two sizes, the Green Congo Nuclear is a unique variegated form of the Congo hybrid, named for the sudden “nuclear” bursts of cream, lime, and deep green that streak across its bold leaves, making every plant one-of-a-kind. Collectors often ask, what is the holy grail of philodendrons? The Philodendron Spiritus Sancti is most often called the grail, but plants like the Green Congo Nuclear also hold that title in collections because of their rarity and dramatic, unstable variegation. Care is easy—place it in bright, indirect light to maintain variegation, water when the top inch of soil dries out, and provide trace fertilizer at each watering. This upright grower adapts well indoors, thrives with warmth and humidity, and doesn’t require a moss pole, making it both a rare prize and a surprisingly easy plant to grow.

Half the plants died ultimately. Some outside the refund window. I was only able to sell two successfully, the rest either died or I am still trying to bring back to life.
