Story Behind the Art I painted the "Everlasting Arms" pair to show the happiest moment I can imagine: children running full speed into the Savior’s open arms. The Savior's arms are wide, His smile is warm, and the light around Him feels like home. This is the promise of Jeremiah 31:3: His love is steady, and He draws us to Him. One thing I love most about these paintings is the movement. The children’s feet are mid-stride, clothes lifting in the breeze, flowers bending as they run. I painted the Savior’s robe and the glow behind Him to suggest welcome, not distance. The gospel message is simple: the Lord’s arms are always open, today, tomorrow, and forever. He doesn’t just accept us. He runs toward us first. When I see these pieces, I think of my own kids and how I want them to know, deep down, that Jesus loves them and will always receive them.
