Beautifully embroidered by the Banjara women. The Banjara were a nomadic tribe now settled in various parts of India. Alamwar works with the Ibrahim Patnam Thanda (group) which is located a few hours from Hyderabad where our workshop is located. Hand embroidered details in Ocher on Natural Linen. 12" x 20" pillow cover with hidden zipper closure. Lined in cotton. Embroidery is on one side of the pillow. Care: Handwash or wash in a gentle cycle. Iron on low heat. Handmade in India.

I have very high standards for quality- for construction, for pairing the pillow fronts to backs, for placement of the zipper, for the hand embroidered details- to say nothing of the color combinations. These pillows did not disappoint- very thoughtful and satisfying design decisions went into their construction.
