The Story Behind the Art: During my time as an art teacher, I made it a point to design projects where every child could know success and be proud of their hard work. They always had “frame-worthy” masterpieces to bring home to their families. But first, I would do the project myself to work out how to teach the children to create their own works of art. And I must admit, I fell in love with this colorful, crowing rooster!! Painting him was such a joy for me that I did it twice! The students LOVED painting these roosters as well and many students still have these proud birds hanging in their homes. In this painting a vividly colorful rooster makes a 'Joyful Noise'.
