About Carla Quigley Art

Doing Art and being creative has always been a part of who I am. I feel most at peace when making something beautiful. And over my lifetime, the yearning for creating beauty has pleasantly enhanced my vocation as a wife, mother and grandmother. Whether it was arranging flowers, painting a gift for a loved one, or sewing with colorful cloth, there were so many ways I could satisfy the urge to be creative and fill our home with beauty. When my children were small, I volunteered at their school to teach an art club. It was then that I found myself talking to the students about how "God is the greatest artist of all!” And while trying to show the kids how art can be connected to God, my own art became something I used to express myself in acts of worship. Today, when God fills my heart until it overflows, I feel compelled to create happy, cheerful art. I think it is important for homes to be filled with beauty that will remind us of how good God is. When I create colorful art and share my work, I feel like I am a tiny pebble dropped into a pond, helping to spread joy, one tiny ripple at a time.Read their story
