XXL April Vase Height 18 cm | Ø 5 cm | Total length 69 cm Glass and galvanized metal Created in 1991 by designers Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, the April Vase has established itself as an iconic piece of contemporary design. Integrated into the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou, it embodies a new way of thinking about floral composition, free and inventive. The XXL model is designed for large flowers and branches, thanks to its 12 generously sized glass tubes, connected by galvanized metal hinges. Inspired by Japanese ikebana, it highlights each stem individually and transforms each bouquet into a balanced work of art. With variable geometry, it unfolds, rounds, fragments, or closes according to desire. Each tube can be removed or moved, offering total modularity and a renewed pleasure of creation.
