Vase d’Avril Classic Height 15 cm | Ø 3 cm | Total length 74 cm Glass and galvanized metal Created in 1991 by designers Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, the Vase d’Avril is an icon of contemporary design. Included in the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou, the MoMA in New York and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, it is now an essential reference. Inspired by Japanese ikebana, it consists of 21 glass tubes connected by metal hinges. Fully adjustable, it can be arranged in a line, a circle, a zigzag or according to the moment’s inspiration. It allows anyone to create a balanced floral composition without any particular expertise. Made in France from durable materials (glass and galvanized metal), it is entirely dismountable and designed to accompany everyday moments with poetry.
