Best scattered in Spring or Autumn. A beautiful mix of native wildflowers that is perfect for pollinators. Garden Meadow is a colourful combination of hardy annuals and perennials that will do well in most gardens, including those in more polluted areas (this mix would also be ideal for road verges). Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of Common toadflax, Cornflower, Cowslip, Meadow cranesbill, Musk mallow, Oxeye daisy and Red campion, plus a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly. Paper packaging is compostable and 100% plastic-free. Full instructions included on the back of the pack. Incredibly easy to use – simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging or expertise required!) and nature will do the rest! Best scattered from early Autumn until the end of Spring. We make the seed balls ourselves from our HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout. All wildflowers are listed by the RHS as perfect for pollinators.
