Liberation is spellwork. 5.375in x 11in letterpress print. Three variations: • All gold ink on 65lb cardstock • Black • Bright royal blue • Deep midnight blue As my partner noted when I showed them this print: both liberation and spellwork mean believing in something you can’t always see. I was thinking this morning about the powerful spell of typesetting—how putting intention into every single letter gives each word a sense of gravity. Working for collective liberation is also a spell: we set our intentions, imbue them with power, and release them into the world, over and over, with love & precision.
