About Ricardo Levins Morales Art Studio

RLM Art Studio (Art for Social Justice) features the original illustration and design of trickster artist/activist Ricardo Levins Morales. Ricardo's hundreds of posters, cards, calendars, pin buttons, and other "medicinal artwork" are intended to help heal the ongoing injuries of inequality and oppression in community. For over 50 years, Ricardo's art has been made alongside movements for social, racial, economic and environmental justice. Based in Minneapolis, RLM Art Studio is a union shop with a small storefront/studio, and also ships worldwide to a loyal and growing customer base which includes activists, teachers, social change organizations, labor unions, nonprofits, political campaigns and ordinary people striving for a better world. Our products sell at dozens of beloved small bookstores and gift shops in the Midwest and beyond. Most are 11x17" (some smaller - see details) and digitally printed on a medium-weight feltweave paper, which adds a textured, handcrafted feeling. Larger posters are usually on thicker cardstock or glossy paper unless otherwise noted. A few are screenprinted or offset print (usually noted in description.) They can be sold to your customers either flat or rolled; ask us for display ideas and with any questions.Read their story
