These Louisiana oyster shells are so adorable!! They measure 2 - 3 inches in size, they have a nice weight to them and they are all individually unique. I use a special technique to grow crystals on the outside of the oyster shell. I then clean each shell, drill a small hole in the top of the shell and then paint the inside of the shell using mother of pearl acrylic paint to bring out the natural beauty of the oyster shell, then I paint the edges of the shell using liquid gold or silver paint and seal the entire shell with a protective semi gloss water resistant finish. Finally I tie a satin ribbon through your oyster so that it is ready to place on your gift and then hang on your loved ones tree. These oysters will surely add a little southern charm to your holidays!
