I am a mixed media artist based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and the proud owner of a cozy art studio nestled within a historic Hampstead building filled with warmth, charm, and creativity. My work combines rich textures and vivid hues through the use of acrylics and natural pigments made from materials—embracing an eco-conscious approach that is both non-toxic and biodegradable. In addition to natural elements, I thoughtfully incorporate recycled materials into my creations, such as oyster shells repurposed into ornaments and vintage dishes transformed into distinctive jewelry pieces. These choices reflect my commitment to sustainability and my passion for giving new life to objects with history and character. Much of my inspiration comes from peaceful beach walks, collecting shells while listening to the waves and immersing myself in quiet reflection.
