Mantova Whole Castelvetrano Olives are all-natural, non-GMO, high-quality Castelvetrano olives, also known as Nocellara del Belice olives, cultivated and hand-picked from the sunny, arid olive groves of the Valle del Belice of Sicily, Italy — a region celebrated for its unique, exquisite olive varietals. In a freshly preserved in a mild brine, our Whole Castelvetrano Olives come already and are ready-to-eat. With a buttery, mildly delicate flavor with a floral undertone, their firm, meaty texture and vibrantly green hue make them a tasty snack. Use them to complement cured meats, fresh cheeses, and dried fruits, and make charcuterie boards and antipasto platters. Drop them into a cocktail or a martini. Serve them together with oven-roasted or grilled chicken, pork, rabbit, and seafood. Toss them in salads, sauces, and dips. Add them to sandwiches, wraps, and panini. Put them on bruschetta, pizza, focaccia. Buon appetito!

We have purchased these olives for years and always get good feedback. However, our last order was not the case. We purchased in March 2025, believing (based on the Faire product info) that the shelf life was 12-24 months. So I purchased enough to last us a year. But the Best By date was July 2025. When I notified Fine Italian Food of this, they told me: “We try to ship out orders with at least 30% shelf life…” They would not replace the items, despite our history. Beware when purchasing!
