On the luminous cream earthenware of this large serving platter, a bouquet of pink-bordeaux roses with open petals, brown-green foliage, stenciled with remarkable suppleness and naturalness. The double bordeaux band running along the wide rim frames the design with discretion and elegance. French production from the 1950s–1960s, "Strasbourg" stamp on the reverse. Diameter 30 cm, a generous size for serving use. Earthenware intact, luminous glaze, very good condition. Placed on a sideboard or set on a table, this platter brings the warmth of French tableware from the 1950s, with that taste for a sober, well-drawn floral decoration that never goes out of style.
