Wholesale Pair of Cerdazur Monaco vases – Marine décor – Fish and seaweed

It only takes one glance to understand why Monaco ceramics have crossed the decades without losing their power of attraction. This pair of vases is a fine illustration. Signed Cerdazur Monaco under their bases, these two vases evoke the seabeds of the Côte d'Azur. Brightly colored tropical fish swim among seaweed against a delicately relief-worked turquoise background. The sculpted handles, highlighted with luminous gilding, lend a particular elegance to their silhouette. Each piece was hand-decorated, giving the set a true personality. The shades of the glaze, the shifting highlights and the decorative details testify to the know-how of Monegasque workshops of the 1950s–1960s, whose creations were intended for a clientele seeking refined decorative objects inspired by the Mediterranean. Displayed on a sideboard, a console or in a bookcase, they naturally draw the eye and bring a touch of color and light. Only to note is a very slight chip on the rim of one vase, discreet and without impact on the presentation of the set. The gilding retains a beautiful sheen.
