Description
This Yuzu Ponzu Soy Sauce, is a blend of Yugeta-san's soy sauce, yuzu, mirin, dashi, salt, and sugar. It has a beautiful floral citrus flavor and aroma that is perfectly balanced by the shoyu, katsuobushi and konbu. What makes it so unique is its yuzu-forward flavor. Most Ponzu Sauce is made with more than one citrus. For this one, Yugeta-san uses only yuzu. Perfect as a dipping sauce for shabu-shabu, in salad dressings or mayonnaise, with raw fish, or grilled meat. Refrigerate after opening. Ingredients: soy sauce, yuzu juice, sauce (soy sauce, sugar, mirin, skipjack tuna, dried shiitake, and kelp), mirin, salt, sugar (contains soybeans, wheat, and fish) About the producer: Yugeta Shoyu has been making soy sauce since 1923 in a village called Tawame, Saitama Prefecture. Today the company is run by fourth generation Mr. Yohichi Yugeta, who is keeping alive traditional shoyu (soy sauce) making. Yugeta Shoyu’s soy sauce is brewed naturally and uses only Japan-grown wheat and soybeans.

The devotion to sourcing & working with multi-generational family farms and businesses is incredible and the products are so good & the quality is impressive. They are worth every dollar. They don't "fly" off our shelves but it's for the more serious cooks! We cannot wait to get more and tell the stories of the brands!

Love the soy sauce. Would recommend asking the company about expiration dates on products before they send them out. My soy sauce and ponzu were barely a year out.
