Architectural risoprint of the venue TivoliVredenburg. The huge building of concert hall / music venue TivoliVredenburg took some getting used to, but slowly but surely the interesting grahic elements in the design really won me over. So high time to add an illustration of this imposing piece of architecture to our Utrecht series of riso prints. From the series Utrecht - Portraits of a City Not just the touristy hot spots, but views we see while cycling, things we love or love to hate, or that interest us because of the graphic lines. Beautiful details, weird contrasts, impressive ugliness, it can all be an inspiration. Risography is a technique that uses a duplicating machine to print colours separately, layer by layer. Risography uses semi-transparent inks based on vegetable oil. Due to the technology, each print is slightly different, which makes each print unique. Designed & printed by VrijFormaat at their studio in Utrecht. Ink colours: black, aqua and bright red. Paper: 160 grams Biotop, A4 sized (21 x 29.7 cm)
