'De Liefde's’ Central Pharmacy. A risograph print of Utrechts most famous Art Nouveau / Jugendstil building. De Liefde means Love (the noun, not the verb), but no we don’t think the pharmacy / apothecary sold love potions. De Liefde is the surname of the man who commissioned this building to be built in 1903-1904. And we love it, so we feel some ‘liefde’ Risography is a technique that uses a duplicating machine to print colours separately, layer by layer. Risography uses semi-transparent inks based on vegetable oil. Due to the technology, each print is slightly different, which makes each print unique. Designed & printed by VrijFormaat at their studio in Utrecht. Ink colours: red, flat gold and green.
