Each plate reflects the perspective and characteristic style of the artist who designed it. Here, the artists had an opportunity to experiment with a new medium, where they could incorporate their personal signature in a different way. Between illustration and ceramics, two of the major areas that make up Águas Furtadas’s body of work, the result is a unique collection that celebrates creativity and the joy of sharing—at the table and in art. All "Pó de Barro" pieces are unique. Due to artisanal production, all products have variations in shapes, colors and finishes. ______ About the artist: José O'Neill Teixeira was born in Serpa in 1998. Under the artistic name Lacortei, he has created posters, album covers and an extensive portfolio in illustration, available through digital platforms and some prints in shops/galleries. Fascinated by the work of Gauguin, he values composition, lines and flat colors. For him, texture is emotion. He lives in Porto.
