Merino Silk Fingering High Twist yarn has two strands lightly twisted together, which make it springy, coherent and strong. High twist yarns create garments that retain quality for longer and are resistant to abrasion and pilling. With 450m (492 yds) per 100g there is that little bit extra per hank making the yarn go even further. Merino Silk Fingering High Twist is 2/9nm at 450m per 100g and a perfect blend of soft 21 micron non-superwash merino wool and mulberry silk. The silk gives it a shiny smooth lustre that feels soft and luxurious to work with. The merino is mulesing free and comes from South America.
