Description
50% of the net proceeds benefit an elephant orphanage in Botswana. Usually only danced once a year on the feast day of Tabaski, this mask is one of the few items the Marka keep as a reminder of their animistic past. Danced in pairs, the mask is made of wood, and embellished with hammered brass. There are knots on each side of the mask.
