Lion Gold Greetings Card. From Dragons to Lions, these are the ideal cards for lovers of myths, legends and curious creatures. Our new collaboration with Sanders of Oxford uses the wonderful illustrations by Matthäus Merian found in John Jonston's Historiae Naturalis de Quadrupedibus Libri, the great 1657 encyclopaedia which was one of the first attempts to compile stories and myths into a complete classification of the animal kingdom. Letterpress cards printed in small batches on an antique press using ecologically sound paper, milled in the UK. A6 card (10.5 x 14.8cm) with brown kraft envelope.
