These plates arrived damaged with significant wear to the gold finish, and other items arrived chipped. We filed a damage claim and requested replacements only for the chipped items. Although communication was initially cordial, it quickly became hostile and defensive regarding the defects/damages. The vendor then canceled both our replacement and new orders and escalated the situation shortly after sending a return label. This was a very shocking and disappointing experience.

As soon as the buyer reported defects, we responded promptly and professionally and provided a return label. Although the claim was filed for all 12 plates in the order, the buyer’s own statement indicated that only half of the items were defective. The buyer also mentioned that some of the issues may have been caused by shipping damage. Even so, to resolve the matter quickly and fairly, both parties agreed that all 12 plates would be returned, and we issued a prepaid return label. At that point, Faire had already deducted the full amount from our account, meaning the items had effectively not been paid for. After waiting more than 10 days for the return shipment, the buyer has not sent the items back and has stopped responding to our messages requesting an update on the return. Situations like this are unfortunate for sellers on Faire, as we made every effort to resolve the issue fairly and simply asked for the products to be returned using the label provided. —Grace Teaware • Mar 12, 2026

I experienced issues with this order from start to finish. Items were shipped incorrectly, some were missing, and several plates had quality defects (stains, uneven gold detailing), reflecting poor product quality. Resolving this required significant effort, including locating a missing box. The return process was complicated, with incomplete and conflicting instructions, and repeated back-and-forth despite requesting a refund only. As a wholesale buyer, this experience did not meet expectations

The buyer initially claimed that a large portion of the order was missing, despite all packages showing as delivered according to the carrier tracking. After we provided both the buyer and Faire with photo documentation taken prior to shipment showing exactly what was packed and sent, the buyer then stated that the allegedly missing items were “found.” Faire reviewed the evidence and ruled in our favor. Throughout the process, we followed Faire’s standard procedures and policies, including directing the buyer to process any returns or refunds through Faire, as sellers do not handle these actions directly. —Grace Teaware • Feb 10, 2026
